“Give This Child Her Father Back: Help Bring O Home”

For more than nine months, O has been held in immigration detention at Delaney Hall in New Jersey, separated from his wife and his 9-year-old daughter.

O came to the United States through a humanitarian program after fleeing war and persecution. Like many families escaping conflict, he came here hoping for safety, stability, and a future for his child.

Instead, his family has been living through a nightmare.

While detained, O’s health has significantly deteriorated. He suffers from serious infections and a severe dental condition that requires urgent oral surgery, but he has struggled to receive adequate treatment in detention.

But the deepest impact of this separation is being felt by his daughter.

She shares a close bond with her father, and the prolonged separation has been emotionally devastating. A clinical psychological evaluation confirms that she is experiencing severe distress. She has required therapy after expressing overwhelming fear and even thoughts of self-harm if her father is deported.

At only nine years old, she is struggling to understand why her father is gone.

Medical professionals warn that prolonged separation from a parent at this age can cause lasting emotional and developmental harm.

O’s family is doing everything they can to fight for his release through the legal system. To challenge his prolonged detention, they must file an urgent federal writ of habeas corpus asking a court to review whether his continued detention is lawful.

Unfortunately, the cost of filing this emergency legal action is $10,000, which the family cannot afford after months of legal expenses and lost income.

We are asking for your help.

Your support will help cover:
• Legal fees to file the habeas corpus petition
• Emergency court filings to challenge his detention
• Efforts to obtain bond and secure O’s release
• Allowing him to reunite with his family and receive proper medical care

His family is simply asking for the chance to be together again while he continues to fight his case legally.

Every donation — no matter the amount — brings this family one step closer to bringing O home.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Your compassion and support mean everything during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for helping give this family hope, healing, and a chance to be together again. ❤️❤️❤️
