Greetings Esteemed Donors,
This is an appeal for a school building project for children living in the Old Town Community in the Marampa Chiefdom, Northern Sierra Leone, whose access to education is a daunting task. They have to walk long distances to attend schools in various parts of the chiefdom just so they could have a better future. Because of this, coupled with the risk associated with the children walking distances such as kidnapping, etc, the community people thought it fit to have a five-classroom school structure that will prevent the children from going far from home.
However, due to lack of funds, the construction of the school has been put on hold, while the children continue to suffer.
The amount asked for will be used to complete the school building, buying of furniture, and payment of workers.
Upon completion of the project, many children within the Old Town Community will have access to a better school within reach.
No amount is too small to help create a better future for these kids in this community.
