Life can change in an instant. Brigid, a hardworking single mom in our community, was recently involved in a car accident that left her vehicle completely totaled. Thankfully, she is safe, but her only means of transportation is gone. Like so many families, she depended on that car for everything, getting to work, taking care of her responsibilities, and providing for her child. Although the car was reliable and well cared for, its age means the insurance settlement will be very small, nowhere near enough to replace it. Right now, Brigid is facing an incredibly stressful situation: trying to stay afloat, continue working, and care for her family without reliable transportation. We’re coming together to help her get back on her feet.
