I am super excited and grateful for the opportunity to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathways to STEM, an Envision by WorldStrides program, at the University of California San Diego this summer. I was nominated by my 5th grade teacher to participate in this program, which focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It’s a unique chance for me to explore future careers in medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation (CSI), while also building leadership skills through hands-on workshops in emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting.
I have always been interested in all aspects of STEM, but I am especially passionate about engineering. My dream is to design the future with safe buildings, and this camp will give me the chance to learn from experts, meet other students who share my interests, and gain valuable experience that will help me reach my goals. The money raised will go towards the week-long camp tuition, room & board, and travel expenses, making it possible for me to attend and learn from this amazing experience.
I am really thankful and grateful for any support you can give to help me achieve my fundraising goal. Your generosity will help me take an important step toward my future, and I appreciate every contribution, big or small.
Other donation/fundraising opportunities include:
1. BottleDrop can donations for those who live in Oregon, I can either collect the cans from you or send you my bag/tag to fill and drop-off on your own.
2. I am working on getting a detailed order form soon, but I will sell local Bend, Oregon teas from Inspired Leaf.
Please contact Brigette via cell/chat/email for details if interested in either of these local options.
