At just 25, Brie is facing challenges that most people would never expect at her age.

In March 2021, a routine chiropractic adjustment led to a series of devastating injuries: a fractured back, a sprained SI joint, and several herniated discs. Since then, Brie has tried everything—physiotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and intensive rehab—but the damage persists. The herniated disc at L5-S1 presses on her nerve root every day, causing constant pain that makes even the simplest activities—sitting, standing, running—nearly impossible.

After exhausting every option in Canada, where the only treatment offered has been painkillers, Brie has found new hope in Germany: a total disc replacement surgery. This is her best chance to break free from temporary relief, live without pain, regain her mobility, and reclaim the quality of life she once had.

The cost of the surgery alone is $62,000. On top of that, there are travel and recovery expenses. Brie will need special accommodations for the long flight, including a more supportive and expensive seat, as well as lodging and time off work while she heals. She will also need someone with her for support during the hospital stay and throughout rehab. The procedure includes 7 days in the hospital, followed by 7 days in a rehab facility.
