Help Bridgette and Jordan Keep Their Home

Hi, I am a long time friend and fellow church member of Bridgette Parker. I recently learned that Bridegette and her daughter are facing a heartbreaking challenge.

Bridgette is a kind-hearted woman who has always done her best to provide a safe, stable home for her daughter. Despite her dedication and careful budgeting, a sudden and steep increase in their property taxes has pushed their limited income past the breaking point.

With fixed monthly earnings that already barely covered the basics—mortgage, food, and utilities—this unexpected burden means they are now struggling to afford essentials like groceries and heating, while also trying to keep up with housing costs. They're at risk of losing their only home.

This isn't due to mismanagement or poor planning—it's the result of rising costs that no one with a modest income could have anticipated or prepared for.

Many of you who see this will be fellow Christians. You already know that the bible instructs us to care for widows and orphans. I humbly submit to you that there are spiritual widows and orphans and it is just as important that we look after them, as well. Bridgette and Jordan have no family to turn to. It is just the two of them. They need our love, prayers, and support.

I’m asking for your help to raise money to cover:

The increased property tax bill

Utility costs and groceries for the next few months

A small cushion to help them regain stability and peace of mind
