Hello Everyone! My name is Pamela Long! I started this gofundme for my dear friend Bridget Smothers, I have had the pleasure of being her friend going on 4 years now, I met her when my husband and I bought our property and I wanted buy chickens and then ended up buying a donkey and horse from her. She was diagnosed with cancer and is now swimming in doctor bills plus she now needs more treatment. I'm hoping that I can raise some money to help her out so she can
just focus on getting better! If you can find it in your heart to donate to her cause, it would be greatly appreciated!

As the Covid 19 pandemic was ramping up in April 2020, I was diagnosed with Melanoma on my scalp. A birthmark changed and grew several tumors out of it within a months’ time. The area on my scalp was 3.5cm x 3.5cm. Surgery to remove 1/3 of my scalp was performed in June 2020 along with the removal of 5 lymph node from behind both ears. At this time, there was no lymph node involvement and they recommended no further treatment beside graft procedure. In July 2020 they performed a skin graft surgery on my thigh to replace the synthetic skin they had used to cover the open area. Thankfully it took and is still alive. I felt better for about a month even through the surgery healing but that didn’t last long… I started to feel unwell again. I am now fighting for my life again in less than a year. The cancer has come back and it’s metastatic. I now have 26 tumors and counting.
I need your help. Please join me in my fight #TEAMBridget. Funds are needed for medical bills, deductibles, travel expenses, treatments and imaging.
Thank you in advance for helping me in the fight against this dreaded beast. Cancer is a relentless adversary.
