I am a lifelong friend of Bridget Waldron. As many of you may know, her businesses — Chatham Beach Spa & Tanning and The Bodyology Loft (body contouring) — were completely destroyed in a devastating fire on January 27 that also consumed four other businesses in downtown Thomaston, CT.

Bridget lost over $200,000 in machines, equipment, inventory, supplies, and products. Watching her go through this has been heartbreaking. These businesses were truly her dream — she worked hard and she loved every minute of building them and caring for her clients.

Chatham Beach Spa was a staple in the community for over 15 years, and Bridget became the owner in June 2025. She poured her heart and soul into building and growing these businesses and was just rounding the corner of prosperity.

Any donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward helping Bridget recover and rebuild from this unimaginable loss of what she worked so hard to create.
