Help Bridget End Dental Pain

Hello everyone.

My name is Bridget. I am a twenty-four years old female living in Georgia. I am currently putting up this GoFundMe in an effort to raise funds to have a molar extracted.

Growing up, my family was very poor and could never afford to bring me to a dentist. My father was declared disabled when I was thirteen years old, and my mother had to stop working to take care of him. Due to these circumstances, my parents could never bring me to get my cavities filled as they couldn't afford dental insurance or the high cost to have fillings done.

Unfortunately, even though I maintain very good oral hygiene now, I have developed some cavities. One of them is causing me extreme amounts of pain daily and I have to constantly take Advil in an effort to not be driven up the wall with dental pain. I now have a very limited diet as most foods make the pain even more aggressive.

The dentist I saw earlier this week quoted me about $400 to have the tooth pulled entirely in its current condition and said it would be cheaper than having it filled. Anything you can spare would help me tremendously, and I'd be very grateful for any help you can give. I feel very embarrassed for having to post this, but I am right now out of all options.
