Hi Friends!

My name is Bridget Cameron and I recently graduated from Iowa State University where I received my bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish. As I am preparing for the next chapter of my life in medical school, I am taking my gap year as an opportunity to gain more international medical experience.

I recently joined the humanitarian organization VAW Global Health Alliances and am fundraising for this internship experience. I will be participating in the Can Tho, Vietnam Medical Outreach program this winter and the Cusco, Peru Medical Outreach program next March. This is such an amazing opportunity and I am looking for some help financing this program.

During my time with this organization, I will be able to shadow medical professionals, gain hands-on experience with patients, have the opportunity to engage in cultural exchange activities, assist in leading health education sessions, set up mobile clinics, and much more. Additionally, our funds go toward the supplies, medications, and vitamins we use to help treat the patients we see at these mobile clinics.
