Bridger is our 9-year-old son, and he has always been a fighter. Over the years, he has faced many ear problems and skin issues, but we recently learned that these challenges were caused by a rare disease called XIAP. This diagnosis has been overwhelming for our family, but it has also given us a new sense of hope and determination to find the best care for Bridger.
There is a new treatment available at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and Bridger has been invited to participate in a study that could make a real difference in his life. The study is expected to last around 6 months and will require us to travel back and forth to Cincinnati many times. While we are grateful for this opportunity, the expenses for travel, hotel stays, car costs, and food add up quickly and are more than we can manage on our own.
We can not thank the supporters of this fundraiser enough. Without your support, this would not be possible. This is a very rare disease and all studies and treatments are invaluable for the information they provide. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the top of yours.
