Dear friends, loved ones, and anyone who feels called to help.

Until April 2023, Brittany was doing well, living a full and active life. Then, within the span of just a week, she unexpectedly went into severe psychosis and debilitating insomnia. Doctors now believe this may have been a rare case of COVID-related psychosis. At this point, the cause matters less than the journey ahead: getting Brittany the support she needs to heal.

It’s hard to put into words how much we love Brittany and how deeply we believe in her complete healing, in her mind, body, and spirit.

Brittany is now placed in a long-term group care home where she is receiving the kind of consistent care and support that is giving her a real chance to heal and move forward. It’s a place filled with hope, structure, and opportunities that we could not offer her on our own, no matter how much we love her.

We are doing everything we can, but until Brittany’s Social Security benefits come through, we need help covering her living expenses and the cost of the care home. Without it, we risk losing the safe place that helps her reclaim her future.
