Dear Friends of Bridge Utd,
We hope this message finds you all well in these difficult times.
Our mens teams have resumed training for the new season and we hope that
schoolboy and schoolgirl teams will
follow shortly to prepare for a restart of competition in early September with
player registration to take place in the
next fortnight.
In common with many organisations,
the club is experiencing significant
financial challenges. We have not held
our lotto since early March and the
early end to the season reduced our
income from the use of our all-weather pitch. The situation has been worsened by a huge increase in our public liability Insurannce premium.
Our ability to fundraise is also curtailed by public health restrictions.
To help us through this difficult period
we are asking club members, parents,
friends and the wider community to
consider making a donation to the club
through our gofundme page.
Obviously we completely understand
that many families have suffered
financially in the current crisis and are
not in a position to help us.
However, we would ask anyone who is
in a position to donate, to consider
doing so.
All donations however large or small are very welcome and greatly appreciated.
