We are the 2nd Year Cohort of The Bridge Program, and we are thrilled to announce our upcoming dance theatre piece, "I Still Don’t Know." A deep collaboration between Associate Director Heather Lang and our cohort of 10 students, this piece is an exploration of the chaos inside our heads and the world around us.
The Concept "I Still Don't Know" dives into the attention economy. It is about the constant channel running in our minds, the saturation of information, and the interruptions that define modern life. It explores the vulnerability of failure, the things we want that might not happen, the "zest for life" clashing with the feeling of being "splatted”. It’s a piece about morphing, failing, and finding realness in a world of distraction.
Why We Need You To bring this vision to life properly, we need the right container. We are raising $2,500 to rent Triskellion Arts in NYC. This venue will allow us to utilize professional lighting, sound, and space to create the immersive environment this work demands—whether that's projecting our internal chaos or creating an intimate circle with the audience.
Your donation supports the next generation of dance theatre artists as we take our final steps in The Bridge Program. Help us turn the "unknown" into art.
