Help Bridge Giorgi’s MFA Funding Gap at UPenn

Dear friends,

I’m writing to ask for your support in helping a brilliant young artist from Rustavi, Georgia -Giorgi Miminoshvili cover the remaining costs of his Master of Fine Arts studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Giorgi is a gifted and hard-working student, who has been accepted into the Master of Fine Arts program starting in 2025 at the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania-one of the most prestigious design schools in the world. He has also been awarded a $58,000 scholarship toward his studies, an extraordinary achievement and a testament to his creativity, dedication, and talent.

Giorgi has carved his path through years of hard work and a deep passion for visual storytelling, shaped by his upbringing in Rustavi, a post-industrial city where creativity often had to find its own way.

Despite the generous scholarship, Giorgi still faces a significant financial gap:

- $10,000 in remaining tuition

- $18,000 for housing, health insurance, and basic living expenses

He has done everything possible to support himself, working as a digital artist, bartender, and pizza maker, but this moment requires more than he can manage alone.
