Hi everyone!
I’m fundraising for my sweet nephew, Brice, and his family. Brice was born on January 9th, 2024, in Virginia with a severe heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a congenital defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped.
Since then, he and his family have been temporarily displaced to Pennsylvania, where he is receiving care at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. At just 9 days old, Brice became the youngest patient to receive the pediatric biventricular Berlin Heart and is currently on the heart transplant list.
In addition to Brice’s medical challenges, his family is facing significant financial hardship. My brother was laid off prior to Brice's birth, and his mother lost her job because she was unable to return to work due to his medical condition. Brice also has an older sister, Mai-Ly, who is preparing for kindergarten this year. Their family has faced and overcome unimaginable circumstances. I am asking for funds to help them pay for food, rent, toiletries—anything helps. Thank you for your support!
