Help Briaxis Fight Meningioma Grade II- Chemotherapy

Nuestra querida Briaxis nos necesita ahora más que nunca. En junio de 2022 le diagnosticaron un tumor que la dejó sin visión. Desafortunadamente, evaluaciones médicas recientes muestran que el tumor está creciendo nuevamente. Esta vez, la radiación no es una opción porque Briaxis ya alcanzó el límite máximo de radiación para esa zona de su cuerpo. Sus médicos han recomendado un protocolo de terapia antiangiogénica (Avastin) como el mejor tratamiento.

Sin embargo, este medicamento no está disponible a través del Instituto Venezolano de Seguridad Social y debe adquirirse de forma privada. Cada vial de Avastin cuesta entre 750 y 900 dólares, y Briaxis necesita seis viales para comenzar su tratamiento. El costo total es abrumador para su familia y no pueden cubrirlo por sí solos.

Es por eso que recurrimos a ustedes (nuestros amigos, familiares y simpatizantes de buen corazón) en busca de ayuda. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, tendrá un impacto significativo. Our beloved Briaxis needs us now more than ever. In June 2022, she was diagnosed with a tumor that left her without vision. Unfortunately, recent medical evaluations show that the tumor is growing again. This time, radiation is not an option because Briaxis has already reached the maximum radiation limit for that area of her body. Her doctors have recommended an anti-angiogenic therapy protocol (Avastin) as the best course of treatment.

However, this medication is not available through the Venezuelan Social Security Institute and must be purchased privately. Each vial of Avastin costs between $750 and $900, and Briaxis needs six vials to begin her treatment. The total cost is overwhelming for her family, and they are unable to cover it on their own.
