Hello my name is Brianna. Yesterday 5/22 at around 6:30 my home in Temple, TX was hit pretty much directly by a devastating tornado. I was in the home when it happened with my boyfriend, 2 cats, and my roomates pets. Almost every window exploded due to the force and my boyfriend sustained some minor injuries. We held ourselves in the closet of the only room without a broken window as water came pouring in through the ceiling we later learned because we lost our entire roof from the storm. As the tornado passed the inner roof began collapsing on us. We were able to finally get out but a lot of our stuff was damaged in the rain and glass was everywhere we left the house with the clothes on our backs and all the pets in the house we are lucky to make it out alive but have lost almost everything. Any funds received will be used to find a new place to live and get our things back so we at least have something after this disaster.
