Help Brianna as she fights Breast Cancer

Hi friends,

We are fundraising for Brianna (my friend Beverly Mason's Daughter) to help with all of her medical out of pocket costs associated with her extensive cancer treatment. As a Teacher, Brianna’s insurance plan has a very high out of pocket and she is only receiving partial income as she receives her treatment.

Brianna was diagnosed on June 23, 2022 at the age of 34, with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma during her second trimester of her first pregnancy. Because the cancer is so aggressive, she started chemo during her pregnancy. Since her diagnosis, Brianna has had two surgeries, six months of chemotherapy, preeclampsia, congestive heart failure, severe anemia, required a blood transfusion and injections to help with her white blood count. She gave birth to precious Charlie prematurely and Louis and Brianna spent six weeks staying with him while he was in NICU. He is doing so well! He is such a sweet baby!

Brianna is having lymph node surgery today and will have her double mastectomy next Friday. Once recovered, she will have 28 rounds of radiation. After recovery from radiation she will have reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, on one of her scans, they found a nodule on her lung that originally responded to chemo but has stopped. She will be meeting with a pulmonologist as well to discuss next steps for the lung.

Through all of this Brianna has remained strong, courageous and positive. We would like to be able to take some of the worry away about the medical bills that continue to come in, so your kindness and generosity will be so very much appreciated.
