Help Brianda Who Is Facing Leukemia Battle

Hello!
My name is Brianda Rodriguez and I was diagnosed with Leukemia over a year ago. One day I’m in pain at work, then a few weeks later I was told I have cancer. My life changed instantly as I stayed in the hospital for months. It came as a surprise to my family, and they’ve done nothing but push me through all of this.
As a result, my dad has been unable to work consistently because of the help and support he has given me throughout the last year. I’ve been in and out of the hospital from the side effects of chemotherapy, I’m constantly at medical centers for my chemotherapy, and I’m constantly in pain as a result of my treatment plans. Even then, I refuse to give up. Some months are better than others, but even when it seems like a good week, I have emergency hospital visits.
As of recent, my treatment has made me ill. I sometimes struggle to eat and I am constantly in pain. This week (Feb. 17-21), my chemo treatment is being delayed because of the constant stomach problems. If all goes well, I should be hitting maintenance and will not need to do so many harsh treatments.
Even though my old life has stopped, life doesn’t stop. We still have bills to pay and mouths to feed. My dad is unable to work consistently while taking me to and from my medical appointments and emergency hospital visits. My mom is taking care of my two other sisters who are in middle school and high school. Even with my brother helping us out financially with bills — while he’s providing for his wife — we sometimes struggle to make ends meet. We are doing our best to go through each day. We don’t ask for much, and anything helps! Please keep us in your hearts and prayers so that my pain lessens each day.
Thank you!
