On Monday, December 20, 2021, Jewell "Julie" Blunt, mother and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 73 years. Julie was married to the late Gerald Blunt and is survived by her one and only son, Brian Turner.

Julie's life was surrounded by beauty and love and her death came as a such a shock because she was in good health and spirit. Her greatest joys included her son, her wonderful friends, her love of nature and her garden, and all her precious animals inside and outside of her home. Her generous and kind character is apparent by the dedication of her time and energy making sure everyone around her was taken care of and she regularly donated to the local APA and to the American Red Cross.

 

Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this difficult time. Her passing is an enormous loss to many, but no one more than her beloved son, Brian and her 4 cats, Tigger, Cocoa, Loki, and Puddin. With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds, to help with any costs that will incur and to help alleviate some of the financial hardship this brings.

 

Nothing has prepared us for this immense feeling of loss and sorrow. We know that Julie loved you all very much and we appreciate all the kindness you have extended to us as we navigate this heartbreaking moment.
