Help Brian Walsby Fix Family's Essential Car

Like many people, we have had a doozy of a 2024 what with my wife’s operation earlier last year and the amazing help we had with people afterwards during her ongoing slow recovery. We really appreciated the help.

Us being self employed freelancers, we sort of rise and fall with our fortunes and assignments and I have spent the better part of the year staying ahead of the curve and paying my bills. My wife hasn’t had the chance to do as much as she could due to her recovery but we carried on. At the conclusion of me freelancing during the holiday season, I got Covid for the second time a few days before Christmas Eve and lost all of my hustling time recovering.

On the morning of New Years Eve I finally tested negative. An hour later as I am getting laundry together to do and get the house straightened out, I get into our car to start it but only find out that it died again. It seems like 2024 is trying to wring out the very last drop of shitty luck for me this year.

So……being in between the projects that sustain me, I am asking for any financial help to get me over the hump that I stumbled into, for fixing the only car we have. We are a one car family and this car not only brings my wife to her very important medical appointments, but is our sole transportation for bringing our disabled daughter to the school she needs to be in.

Since I don’t want to ask for anything without providing something in return, I will be more than happy to send people jpegs and PDFs of ANY of the art that you have seen me post online to people who contribute, as long as you leave an e mail address and an idea for me of what you would like me to send. You can make prints of any of these files at your local Kinkos or Fed Ex near you.

I really do not want to ask for help, but I am doing it anyways and hoping that I have acquired enough good will in the universe for such a favor.
