Help Brian Strines in his Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
Family and friends are raising money for the medical costs and rehabilitation needs of Brian Strines due to his recent medical emergency. On February 2nd of 2022, Brian was taken to Corning Hospital and it was discovered that he was having a stroke caused by a brain tear. Upon this discovery, Brian was immediately transported to Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital for the support of their Neurological Specialists. While surgery was preferred, doctors were unable to preform the risky surgery because of the location of the brain tear. At this time, Brian does not have any feeling in his left side and will need intensive rehabilitation to support his recovery.
While he continues his stay at Strong Memorial Hospital, he has kept a positive outlook but struggles with short term memory loss caused by the stroke. When he is able to leave the hospital, he will need approximately three weeks of intensive rehabilitation to gain back his mobility. As a long time musician, his recovery goal is to be able to play his beloved instruments again, specifically the guitar and keyboard.
Currently, Brian's wife is traveling back and forth from Rochester to Painted Post to support him during his time of need. Any donations would greatly help the family pay for the continued hospitalization stay, treatment and upcoming rehabilitation costs.
