Brian is a good man and a great friend of mine. He is currently battling stage 4 prostate cancer which has spread throughout his body. He has a sweet little pup named Brewster that brings him so much love and joy and he is in great peril. Brewster jumped up to catch his ball and he twisted his back and severely injured himself. He is such a sweet and loving little fluff ball and is Brian's entire world. Brewster is also a very important part of all of Brian's friends and we all would love to see him be able to once again in the future chase his ball and enjoy life.

So when Brewster twisted his back jumping up to catch his ball, Brian's whole world came crashing down in seeing his "baby" so incredibly injured and hurting. Hearing a grown man cry to me on the phone, telling me his plight, tore me to pieces. Brewster might need to have surgery or he may become paralyzed. Brian is taking him to UC Davis Small Animal Hospital from Reno, Nevada tomorrow, April 14, 2026, to be reevaluated by the veterinarians there. The surgery is expected to be very expensive, and Brian would do anything for this beautiful creature.

Please, if anyone can help with the cost of this very important surgery, I would be so very grateful, and I know that Brian would be too. Any amount at all can help.
