Help Brian Santos recover from a senseless attack

On January 21st, our friend and Union brother, Brian Santos, was attacked and stabbed while at a friends house in Lowell. Luckily, Brian’s friends were able to give first aid while they waited for first responders to arrive. Amazingly, at the same time some friends cared for Brian, another friend subdued and held the attacker for police, who performed additional life saving measures for Brian when they arrived.

 

Brian was rushed by ambulance to Lowell General, and then sent by Med Flight to Tufts Medical Center for emergency surgery when it was determined his liver had been damaged.

 

Since being at Tufts, Brian has undergone multiple surgeries to treat his injuries, a total of 7 surgeries so far, and he still remains in the ICU with a breathing tube; suffering from pneumonia on top of everything else.

 

Brian is a hard working, and caring person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. So please help us support him while he heals up. Brian’s Sister, Christina Correia is currently acting as Brian’s health Proxy and will be here as well.
