Help Brian reunite with Mom in Heaven

Hi, it's me, Dave. Brian's brother.

This is hard for me to write. Brian was my brother, but also my friend. His passing was very unexpected...went into the hospital for potassium issues and contracted covid while in the hospital. I was talking to him through the weekend, then got a call from the nurse who said he wasn't doing well at all. He passed away later the same night. This has come suddenly and we were not expecting to pay for a funeral.

Brian has worked hard his whole life. Worked for the same company for about 15 years...He has had some medical complications with his diabetes, problems with his eyes, had to have part of his foot amputated...among other things. He continued to work as long as he could. His doctors agreed that he needed to be on disability, but the government decided he didn't. He had to quit his job and unfortunately, that meant no more life insurance. He has been fighting to get disability since before he had to leave his job.

He has been out of work for about a year and staying at my house about 75% of the time.

Brian had a heart of gold! Made people laugh easily. Always willing to give a helping hand if he could. Made friends pretty easy. Not afraid to talk to new people. Loved to be with family. Always see a smile on his face during family get togethers. Especially on card night. He would always try to make the trip from Indiana if it meant he got to see everybody.

It is hard to find a way to pay for his funeral expenses.

Between funeral service, cremation, burial and a small headstone. We will need to pay for this by December 18th. I know this is short notice. So sorry.
