I’ve always prided myself on being strong and capable—someone who could take on any physical challenge that came my way. I recently suffered a broken ankle that now requires surgery. Although this injury isn’t life-threatening, it’s the first time I’ve faced something that truly threatens my way of life.
This injury has made it impossible for me to work and take care of myself as I normally would. The medical expenses for surgery and recovery are adding up quickly, and the longer I wait, the harder it will be to get back on my feet—literally and figuratively. Prompt surgery is my best chance to return to work, regain my independence, and get back to the life I love.
For those who know me, you know how much I value my strength and resilience. Asking for help isn’t easy, but right now, I need support to get through this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in my recovery. Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can offer.
