Help Brian Narelle through Surgery

Hello. My name is Grant Narelle. I am reaching out to help raise funds for my brother Brian Narelle. Anyone who knows Brian can tell you what an exceptionally talented and kind-hearted man he is.

This GoFundMe is to help support him during these very challenging times.

Over the last six months, Brian has hit a series of speed bumps, starting with Covid, followed by a back injury, then a gout attack and Achille's tendinitis. And then, as if that wasn't enough, his prostate decided to shut down the works. Brian has endured several agonizing ER visits and his current life with a catheter.

Due to the size of his prostate, more straightforward, less invasive procedures are now off the table, resulting in the need for conventional prostate surgery, scheduled for September 1st. Combine all this with a lack of work and a SAG strike, and Brian finds himself up a creek with a tiny paddle.

With bills already piling up and a projected full recovery of 6-8 weeks, Brian could use a helping hand.

To all sci-fi fans, you may know him as Lt. Doolittle of the cult classic Dark Star. Lest you think of him as just another movie star, the fact is that no one made a dime off that film. Well, somebody did. We just don't know who.

While projecting the associated medical costs is complex, the most immediate concern is covering living expenses in the short term.

On the other side of this current speed bump, Brian looks forward to getting back to illustrating books and performing and publishing his Micro-Tales and the canine poetry of his alter ego Warren Peace.
