Help Brian Mahan, No One Should Fight PTSD Alone!
Detective Brian Mahan (recently separated) is a decorated law enforcement veteran of (9) years of service, who was shot in the line of duty in October of 2015, during a mid-day shootout with a violent felon. Detective Mahan's physical injury would heal over time, however, not all scars are visible. Brian did not know it at the time, however, that critical incident along with years of exposure to other traumatic scenes would affect his mental health, resulting in job related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Brian is brave enough to come forward and address his PTSD to save his life and his family. As Brian works to get better, he is unable to work as a law enforcement officer. Brian has a wife and (2) kids and can use any help we can give him. Brian is a literal hero who was shot in the line of duty and continued to put his life on the line every day for his community, all while fighting an internal battle. Please help Brian and his family reduce their financial burden while he heals. Thank you.
