Maury Brown here. I've started this GoFundMe at a time when someone who has always helped others is in need of your help due to a medical emergency.

Brian Hadley is my cousin, but he's much more. A staple of the Portland, OR music community for decades, he is one of the most talented and beloved members the area has been fortunate to have.

Struck with severe abdominal pains, he had to have emergency surgery to address his intestines. The long and painful road to recovery requires not one, but two surgeries to address the problem, the second of which sees him going under the knife on Christmas Eve and in the hospital till after the new year. His recovery time is expected to last until February. With an inability to work, meeting basic needs such as paying rent, utilities, and maintaining proper nutrition is limited.
