Help Brian Get to the 2024 Democratic National Convention

Hi, my name is Brian Swancutt, I am 24 years old, and I use they or he pronouns. I'm a 6-year Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party activist, the current Chair of Stonewall DFL, the LGBTQIA2S+ Community Caucus of the DFL, and an Uncommitted Delegate to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

On May 4th, 2024, I had the distinct honor of being elected as one of the two Uncommitted Delegates from Minnesota Congressional District 4 to the Democratic National Convention. The platform I ran on was simple: the fight for queer and Palestinian liberation is the same. The fight for queer rights will not be used to justify genocide. The LGBTQIA2S+ community and the people of Palestine will not be pitted against each other in our fight for true liberation.

The Democratic National Convention is estimated to cost between $2,500-$3,000 to attend. I am asking for financial assistance to attend the Convention so that I am effectively able to represent Minnesota Congressional District 4, Minnesota, the LGBTQIA+ community, and the Uncommitted movement at the Democratic National Convention. All funds raised will go towards convention expenses. More details will be forthcoming.
