Help Brian Get Back on the Road After Surgery

My dear friend and co-worker, Brian Koonce, has been through an incredibly tough year. After undergoing three separate hip procedures, he has fought through months of painful recovery and intense physical therapy. His most recent procedure was on February 12th, 2025. Unfortunately, while he has been focusing on regaining his mobility, he was unable to work—causing him to fall behind on bills, including payments for his car, which was ultimately repossessed.

Now that Brian is finally back on his feet and ready to return to work, he has no reliable transportation to get there. We’re coming together in hopes of raising $10,000 so he can purchase a dependable used car and reclaim his independence.

Brian has always been someone who lifts others up—whether it’s through his hard work, kindness, or unwavering support for his friends and colleagues. Now, it’s our turn to help him. Every donation, big or small, will bring him one step closer to getting back on the road and rebuilding his life.

Incredible News—We Hit Our Goal! But Let’s Keep It Going!

I’m beyond grateful to share that we’ve officially reached our fundraising goal for Brian! Your generosity and support has been overwhelming, and it’s amazing to see how much kindness surrounds him during this time.

However, after looking at the full picture (like vehicle taxes, registration, insurance, or other unexpected expenses.) I’ve decided to keep this fundraiser going for another week to ensure Brian has everything he needs to get back on his feet comfortably, and incase anyone who would still like to contribute has the opportunity to do so.
