Help Brian Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Hi Everyone. My name is Brian.

I'm a proud man who has worked my entire life and nothing was ever given to us. We have worked very hard for the small life we have made for ourselves and it's very hard for me to be here.

Over the years we have given anonymously to lots of charities and it's been suggested "It's our time for help" so I thought I have nothing to lose for trying what I can to keep fighting.

After smoking for 43 years I was able to kick the habit and quit.

A few months later and for no other reason than wanting to know the condition of my lungs I went and had some tests done.

I wasn't sick or feeling bad.

I just wanted to know "How Old (?)" my lungs were after 43 years of smoking.

The tests came back as having "Stage 4 Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer - M1A".

We we're shocked as I have no obvious signs or symptoms of being sick.

To look at me you would think I'm perfectly healthy and on the outside I am.

After much research I ended up in Phoenix, Arizona where I attend an "Alternative Cancer Treatment Clinic".

This clinic uses treatments found in Europe and other countries to fight cancer using less body obtrusive and damaging treatments such as Low dose Chemo, Natural Therapies and more Holistic treatments.

Traditional Chemo treatments kill everything in its path both good and bad. It kills everything. This is why people get sick and die from Chemo. If you're not healthy enough to stand the Chemo you die after being miserably sick. There are other and better ways.

My Chemo is delivered in a different way and is far less damaging to my body.

Although I do feel ill on Chemo day I rarely get sick.

Although I do get a pretty bad headache it's tolerable for a day.

But it's nothing like conventional Chemo treatment and I'm really happy to be where I'm at in Phoenix.

I was diagnosed in May 2024 and since that time I have undergone 34 Low dose chemo treatments (and counting) that have shown amazing results for me and I have been one of the fastest responders to treatment the clinic has ever had.

My treatments were cut in half after only 4 weeks at the clinic

I currently spend 10 days +/- at home and then 4 days in treatment in Phoenix.

This cycle has repeated since the middle of June of last year (2024) depending on how much cash we can come up with at the time.

At times I have had to stretch my treatments to 3 weeks at a time and it's pretty scary as it's the treatments that are keeping me alive for now.

I drive to Phoenix and back and that's 4 hours each way.

I stay in a motorhome when I'm there for lodging and I eat cheap from the market.

Treatment is not cheap when we pay for it out of our pocket.

Treatment in Phoenix is about $16000.00 +/- a month (Treatment, Fuel, Rent, Food, Etc,) and we are nearing the end of our savings.

We have spent close to $135,000.00 and I'm trying to get as much funding together to go as long as I can.

With cancer there is no set length of time that it takes to beat it.

I'm expecting several more months of treatment at the least.

We live a simple life.

We're not flashy people and we keep to ourselves.

We don't have huge dollars and we never ever thought we would find ourselves in this position at this time in our lives.

We were looking forward to a very humble and quiet retirement in a few more years from now.

That's gone....

Now I'm trying to keep myself alive for as long as I can which to be honest is probably only a few years at best.

I started a FB group when I was first diagnosed and have made a video journal since my prognosis.

I have videos of everything including videos of most of the treatments I do and how the processes work.
