Help Brian Earl Fight Lung Cancer
Donation protected
Brian has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and will be facing a long road ahead involving treatments and medical appointments. Help Brian fight this cancer by supporting him financially through this process!
In early January, Brian had a cough that he thought was a simple cold or sinus infection. After a trip to the local clinic, he left with a diagnosis of a viral illness. Two weeks later, he still did not get better, so back to the clinic he went. A chest x-ray was preformed which found a "shadow." This promoted his doctor to order a CT scan of his lungs which found spots in his lungs. They weren't able to tell him whether or not the spots were benign or cancerous, he had to have a biopsy. Brian went to have the biopsy of a lymph node in his neck, which came back positive for cancer cells. Brian's PET scan shows cancer in the lungs, and his oncologist said it is in the advanced stage, stage III. His future holds chemotherapy treatments and radiation. The cancer mass in non-operable because it has spread to too many of his lymph nodes.
Brian is married to a wonderful woman named Amy. Amy and Brian fell in love and were happily married for a year when they received the worst news of their lives. Amy was diagnosed with ALS. Amy herself has been fighting hard against ALS for the past 5 years, and Brian is her primary caregiver. Brian needs our help now more than ever, not only for himself, but to enable him to continue to care for his wife and support his family.
Brian's family loves him very much. He has three daughters, Kelsi, Kaiti, and Makenzi. He has a new grandson, Julian, who is 9 months old. He also has three step children with his wife Amy: Jack, Austin, and Ruth. Brian's family needs him to win this fight against cancer.
Also, it should be mentioned that Brian does NOT smoke cigarettes. He quit smoking cold turkey when he was 25 years old and he never looked back. Not everyone diagnosed with lung cancer is a smoker. Brian was consider very healthy. He exercises everyday. We will never know why bad things happen to good people.
We are asking for urgent help. Brian's medical bills are already staggering, and this journey has just begun. Anything helps. Thank you so much.
