Help Brian (Cole) Shope While on His Healing Journey

Hey Everyone!

I am Lauren DeLong and my Fiance Brian (Cole) Shope was in a motorcycle accident while he was on a trip to make money for our family to welcome our bundle of joy coming December 2024. He suffered a major traumatic brain injury resulting in brain surgery and a prolonged hospital stay. Since the start of his hospital stay he has not only suffered from brain surgery but also had to battle pneumonia, blood clots and septic shock. Through all that he continues to fight and show signs of improvement. As for his recovery, it appears it could take 1-2 years in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital once he is stable enough to leave the hospital. His father and I have temporarily relocated to Florida so that he has the support system he needs to recover from this type of injury so we are paying not only for houses and expenses in Ohio but Florida as well. Once he is stable enough to transport we will also be looking at having to pay for medical transport from Florida to Ohio which could be upwards of $10,000. I had to quit my job in order to move down here to be with him and will be out of work until I recover from delivering our daughter. Any funds raised are greatly appreciated and will be used towards hospital bills, medical transport, and living expenses as we face the challenges that lie ahead.
