Hi everyone,
If you’re reading this, chances are you know Brian Boyle — whether from his trail work, mountain biking, hiking, or backcountry skiing. From Ride NoCo trail days to Granite Backcountry Alliance glade days, Brian is always giving back. Now, it’s our turn to give back to him.
On Tuesday, September 16th, Brian suffered a serious fall while working on a roof. In a strange twist of fate, a new tool belt he picked up that very morning may have spared him from worse trauma — the hammer on his belt broke his back, but may have prevented paralysis or head injury.
His injuries are significant:
• A broken back (no surgery required, thankfully)
• A broken wrist (surgery completed)
• Broken heels on both feet (multiple surgeries completed)
With three immobilized limbs, Brian is not eligible for a rehab facility and will require extensive care at home. Doctors expect he won’t be able to walk for 3 months, and he may be out of work for 6–12 months.
Brian and Brittany are not the kind to ask for help — but right now, they truly need it. This fundraiser will help cover:
• Medical bills and ongoing care
• Lost income during recovery
• Home adjustments to make life possible while he heals
• Day-to-day family expenses
How you can help:
• Donate any amount — every bit makes a difference.
• Share this page widely so friends, family, and our community can rally behind Brian.
Thank you so much for your generosity, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s come together to lift the burden for Brian and Brittany so they can focus on what matters most: healing and family.
With gratitude,
Tara Hartnett & Colin Wroblewski
