My father, Brian Bass, has been on dialysis for the past five years, waiting and hoping for a kidney transplant that could save his life. Recently, a living donor kindly stepped forward to give Brian this precious gift. However, after the surgery, things took a difficult turn. Brian has struggled to maintain stability, facing several serious complications. At one point, CPR had to be performed, and he is now on a ventilator, fighting for his life.

This has been an incredibly hard time for my family and me. We are traveling over three hours to the hospital to be with my dad, doing everything we can to support him and each other. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, but we are holding onto hope and the kindness of those around us.
