On July 13, 2025, Brian and Nancy Kidd were hit with the kind of news that no one ever wants to hear. They were told the words, "stage 4 cancer". Brian, originally went in for what he thought was a kidney infection and found out that he had fluid around his heart. Further testing showed he had a cancer that has spread throughout his body. (He still needs to see an expensive specialist for a second opinion and treatment options when he gets release from the hospital.)

The news has turned life their lives upside down. On top of everything, Brian doesn’t have health insurance, which makes an already overwhelming situation even harder.

Right now, they’re facing a long road of treatments, tests, hospital stays, hard decisions, and the medical bills are already starting to add up fast.

Brian and Nancy are kind, hard-working, and stand-up people. Currently, Brian works at Kroger and Nancy has worked as a paraprofessional for decades working with special needs children.

They need our help.
