Help Brian and His Son Through Tough Times
- Hello, my name is Nicole. I am the sister of Brian Frias. Brian recently had a fall at work and was sent to the hospital because he lost mobility in his left foot and severe back pain due to the fall. He was kept in the hospital for 5 days until the surgery was performed on his back on 6/17/2024. He was then released from the hospital on 6/19/2024 and has still not been able to return to work or his normal routines due to the persistent pain in his back. The pain and loss of mobility in his foot remains the same even after the surgery.
- He is unable to return to work and was denied for his worker compensation, so he has not received any income since 6/27/2024. He has obtained an attorney which will fight the worker comp case but it could take 6 months to get overturned. In the meantime, Brian has a 2-bedroom apartment and has his 15-year-old son full time, of which he is unable to provide for due to the injury. He has received help from a charity for the month of July rent but has no other options at this time.
- We are reaching out with no other direction to go, as the bills and medical bills, and basic needs still need to be met. Brian would appreciate any help that can be sent to him.
