Help Bria Travel to France!

Hello everyone! My name is Bria Stallworth and I am a Junior (11th grade) in high-school. I have been taking French classes since elementary school. I love the language and bonds the learning experience has brought me. I met my best friends in my freshman year (9th grade) French class, which I still talk to almost everyday. My french teacher helped me contact a pen pal. We love to discuss the differences and similarities within our routines. When I attend class, I want to read, listen, speak, and understand French. I want to achieve my goal of obtaining average fluency by the end of high school and a seal of biliteracy!

I worked for two years to get into a summer program known as CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange). The program, as described, is an international program which allows students from different areas to study abroad for their passions! They have various trips to choose from (some even provide college credit)! CIEE provides housing, food, and classes for their students. The foreign language teachers greatly advocated for this program, so I decided to apply.

They notified me at the end of February that I was accepted for their trip to Toulouse, France! This trip would allow for me to improve on my conversational skills, create new bonds with different kinds of people, and earn college credit (possibly obtaining a seal of biliteracy). Unfortunately, I need to come up with at least $6,000 for the cost of tuition and the plane ticket by July. The funds from this gofundme would be used to pay for the tuition and plane ticket!

I am holding various fundraisers (selling food, garage sales, etc) and I want to ask for help. Anything donated would help me and be greatly appreciated!
