Help Bria Fund Flight Training

Hello everyone!

 

My name is Bria Bailey and I am currently a junior Honors student in the Clara I. Adams Honors College at Morgan State University studying Business Administration. I earned my Associate Degree in General Studies from Baltimore City Community College this past May. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and high honors as a scholar in the Granville T. Woods Scholars Program.

 

While I am immensely grateful to be attending Morgan State University and be part of the Honors program, my ultimate dream and career goal is to become a commercial airline pilot. Less than half of 1% of professional pilots in the United States are Black women. It is one of my life's goals to become one of them and increase that number. I am currently participating in the Sisters of the Skies Mentorship Program, which aims to promote the progression and development of women of color seeking careers flying in the aviation industry. Once I have gained more flight experience, I would love to share the world of aviation with other young Black girls to ignite the interest we need to diversify the aviation industry. Every cent raised from this fundraiser will bring me closer to making this a reality.

 

100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward flight training!

 

All money raised from this fundraiser will go directly towards flight training for my Private Pilot License (PPL) via Brett Aviation in Middle River, MD. When I surpass my initial goal, any additional money will go towards the next rating in my training which is the Instrument Rating. I will keep all donors updated on my training progress via monthly correspondence.
