Help Bria Beddoe Smile Again: Urgent Dental Care

Hello fellow friends of the internet! I’m Bria Beddoe! A little about me: I’m a black queer stand-up comedian in the DC area and I love making people smile and laugh with my jokes. I am passionate about my ability to put a smile on a person’s face. But currently, my smile is in serious need of care.

I am on medicaid and with recent changes, I have been unable to be seen by anyone who takes my insurance. So I have been forced to pay out of pocket. A recent dental visit has revealed that I have an active gum infection, severe tooth decay on one of my teeth, and three fillings in need of immediate replacement. One of my fillings apparently has cracked in half, so I have an exposed cavity. This must be treated in a series of visits. And as soon as possible. The total of which is about $4200.

I would gladly pay this all on my own if I could, but currently my income is from a seasonal barista job with not a lot of hours. And stand-up comedy of course. I’m not big on asking for help, so this is new to me. I am asking for anything you can donate. I would like to take care of this as soon as I can so this won’t affect my health in a serious way. Please share this with your other friends (internet and irl) so I can maximize my dental slay (I am so sorry)!
