Help Bri Recover from Extensive Fibroid Surgery
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out to share an update on my health journey and to ask for your support after undergoing fibroid surgery. The procedure was necessary and while it went well, the recovery process has been challenging. After my MRI during my OBGYN appointments, I was diagnosed with the removal of 15 fibroids. My surgeons were able to remove 37 fibroids and a cyst from my uterus last Friday.
Due to the extensiveness of my procedure, it is taking me longer to heal and return back to work. I had to get 2 blood transfusions, and I am still currently unable to keep food down since leaving the hospital. I am moving about more and more every day, but I am still in constant pain and nauseous. I’m very grateful to my friends and family that have stayed with me and supported me through my hospital stay, to when I was finally able to come back home to rest and recover.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a tremendous help and will allow me to focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries.
If you are unable to contribute, sharing this campaign with your community would also mean a lot to me. Thank you for your love and support during this time. Thank you to everyone that has reached out sending well wishes. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.
much love,
Bri
