Help Bri Get Back on the Road to Support Her Family

Hi, and thank you for taking a moment to read this.
I’m a mom to three teenagers, doing my best to push through a really tough time emotionally and financially. I’ve been living with depression and social anxiety disorder, which makes it difficult to maintain close relationships or ask for help. But after a string of setbacks and a lot of prayer, I’m stepping outside my comfort zone and putting this out there.
Earlier today, after back-to-school shopping for my kids, I returned to my car to find a flat tire and another one low, not holding its pressure properly. My tires have been in bad shape, and I’ve been replacing them one at a time with used ones from a local llantera. Right now, I don’t even have enough to do that.
I had a plan to catch up on my oil change and restore my account (currently about $200 in the negative) by the end of next week, but this unexpected tire issue threw everything off. I freelance with DoorDash and Uber Eats and do seasonal work with Intuit during tax season. Because of my social anxiety, this kind of flexible work is a lifeline — but it also means if my car isn’t running, I can’t earn.
Last week I worked 59 hours. This week I’m at 34 and had planned two 12-hour shifts this weekend — but only if I can get my tires replaced. I’m not lazy, and I genuinely try to do everything on my own before asking for help.
My husband just started a new job and won’t be paid until the 15th. He just paid our rent today, so unfortunately, he’s not able to help with this particular emergency. I also don't have much of a family or friend support system that I can turn to.
Back in January, my car was in the shop for two full months for major repairs (thankfully under warranty), but that downtime hit my income hard... and I’m still catching up from it.
I’m asking for help covering:
- Two safe, reliable tires
- An oil change ($80)
- Restoring my checking account balance ($200, currently in overdraft)
I’ve included:
- A photo of myself
- A screenshot of my Cash App balance showing the overdraft
- My tire pressure warning light and oil change indicator — so you can see what I’m dealing with directly
If you’d prefer to help directly, my Cash App is $brijackson12345 — and anything sent there will go toward clearing the negative balance first. (All donations, whether here or via Cash App, are deeply appreciated.)
Thank you for reading, for seeing me, and for considering being a part of this moment of hope. Every little bit helps more than you know.
With gratitude,
Bri
