My dad Brett had battled cancer with an iron will for a couple years however his he passed away suddenly Saturday. After his passing we discovered his life insurance was canceled in January after his FMLA ran out. He had handled all the bills and my mother never worked so most of the savings was cleaned out by medical bills and SSI could take a few months to process the survivors benefits
