Hello Everyone! My name is Brett and I am an 18-year-old that lives in New Jersey. I have lived mainly with my Mom, Brother, and Sister for as long as I can remember. My Sister has been in and out of the hospital for her entire life, and in the last few years, things have gotten worse with some hospital visits being months long. My sister has Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy from Meningitis at birth, which also caused her to have 2 strokes at a very young age. As a result of my sister needing ample amounts of attention, it has been hard for my mom to be able to work, and in recent years, she has not been able to work at all. She has been making things work very well for us, and I am very grateful that she has still given me a great life even with all of these hardships.

Recently, however, things have not been going well for us. On 12/26 of last year, my sister's oxygen was running very, very low, and she had to be transported to the hospital. This eventually led to my Mom and my sister having to relocate to CHOP in Philadelphia. They have been there since then as of 1/13 and expect to still be there for a decent while. My mom has been really struggling recently with keeping up with bills as she doesn't get assistance when my sister is in the hospital. I really want to surprise her with some assistance because I hate to see her struggling so much, and I am pretty much out of money myself to help her as well. Anything is appreciated!
