NEED FOR FINANCIAL HELP

Brett and Diane are so appreciative of the donations already provided. However. Brett is still in need of financial support.

Brett is now at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, this is the best place for him to have a chance at a close to full recovery. He is doing multiple therapies a day:

Occupational therapy to work on upper body strength as well as re-learning everyday tasks like getting dressed, shaving, brushing his teeth etc

Speech therapy to work on his voice and cognitive tasks.

Physical therapy is working on his core, balance, regaining center of gravity and recognizing his left side again so he can eventually walk.

They are recommending a 12 week program for him. Unfortunately, the insurance company is already denying coverage!

For room, board, and therapies it is roughly $1,600/day out of pocket. Brett and Diane are appealing the denial, but even if it is overturned for a short period of time it is inevitable that they will deny coverage and not pay for the full 12 weeks.

There is no doubt that Courage Kenny is the best place for him to be and he trusts his nurses and therapists.
