As some of you may know someone near and dear to our hearts, Brett Scott, was diagnosed with advanced-stage prostate cancer about a year and a half ago. The advanced means there was spread, fortunately local, and most importantly fightable and treatable.

Thankfully, Brett was able to get treatment from some of the best doctors in the world at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Brett has been splitting his time between Rochester and the Twin Cities for chemotherapy treatments, hormone treatments, surgery to remove the prostate and areas of spread, and radiation treatments. Brett has persevered through the treatments, he’s kept an insanely positive fighter attitude, and has asked for very little help through it all. Of course, this process has not been easy on Brett or his family. His kids have shown awesome strength through the process despite how scary it has been. But the medical costs plus reduced income have become a real challenge for him and his family. So, we are now asking if you would please consider contributing to a GoFundme account his extended family has set up for him so that he can continue to pay for treatments, beat cancer, and spend as much time as possible with all of us, but especially his kids. When you donate, your $ is transferred directly into Brett’s bank account, helping reduce the impact of Brett’s medical leave from work, multiple years of having to meet his full deductible andout-of-pockett maximums, and the overall financial burden of fighting this unfair disease.
