Final Update: Brett was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday the 24th and made his way to Pheonix Children's Hostpital to be with Alice and Stephanie. Same day, they diagnosed Alice with a severe case of mono. This caused all of the inflammation in her organs, and she was put put on antibitoics for a secondary infection. This means that she will not be needing surgery and everything should go back to normal once the virus clears. Brett had them take her off her iv, and got her out bed. Then he got her eating and drinking. She was discharged on Wednesday night, and they made their way back home to all be together again. Both of them still have a lot of recovery to do. Mono can last 2-4 weeks, and for Brett to feel totally normal can take up to 3 months, but is cleared to go back to work in 2 more weeks. The family is so grateful for all of the love and support they have been given. Much love to you all from the Evans family!
Second Update: While Brett is doing well on his recovery, his daughter, Alice, is now in an unrelated medical emergency. She has been medically transported across state to a children's hospital. She is facing a number of issues originating from an inflamed and infected gallbladder. This has caused an infection in multiple organs throughout her body. She is undergoing treatments and will be having surgery in the coming days to remove her gallbladder. Please show your support by donating, sharing, and prayer. She is such an amazing little girl. We need to do anything we can to help get the family through all of these trying times and back home together
Support Brett Evans and His Family During Surgery
Brett Evans, a devoted husband and loving father of three, is facing an unexpected and serious medical challenge. He woke up, on the morning of February 13th, with a collapsed lung. Unfortunately, Brett needs surgery on his lung to repair it. While we are hopeful for a successful procedure and full recovery, this journey will not be easy.
As many of you know, Brett works hard to provide for his wife and three children. During this time, he will be unable to work while he undergoes surgery and recovery. This creates a significant financial strain on his family as medical bills and everyday living expenses continue to add up.
Brett’s family means everything to him. He is the kind of man who shows up for others without hesitation, and now he needs us to show up for him.
If you’re able to donate, any amount will make a difference. If you can’t give financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Brett and his family in your thoughts
