Help Brett Druck's Tour Not Suck

Hey. This is Steve Hofstetter, and Brett doesn't know I'm doing this. Last night, Brett made a mistake - a mistake that cost him time, money, and some irreplaceable footage. Brett has been my right hand guy for about six years, touring with me for hundreds of shows. He's helped my tours not suck for a very long time. So today, I am asking your help in making his tour not suck. I'll put his own words below describing what happened - but the short story is he lost his bag that had all his tour money, his medication, and a hard drive with years of tour footage (among other important things).

Look, we won't be getting that footage back. But I want to help him replace the rest. I'm starting with with $1K of my money. And I'm hoping that if you have enjoyed the hundred videos he's been in on my channel, you'll throw him $5 or $10 as a thank you for the entertainment. And together we can help fix this awful day for him.

Anyway, here's the whole story. And thanks to those of you who are helping.

And if you can't donate, help him out with a follow:

Last night I made one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. I put my backpack down on a curb while I loaded all of the equipment into the trunk of the tour bus, got on the bus and drove away without it. In that backpack was all of the cash sales I'd made over the last 5 weeks, but hadn't yet been able to deposit due to lack of proximity to my bank on our routing. The amount of money I lost has financially nullified the last 5 weeks of touring.

My medication, my coat, my headphones, my sunglasses, my charger, all the other essential things I packed in that bag are gone. All of them are ultimately replaceable except for one thing. In my backpack I had a 1 TB external hard drive. I had everything digital on that. Backups of other hard drives and four years of footage of me performing shows around the country that I never got to sort through to make into videos for uploading and now can never get back.

This is no one's fault but my own and there's nothing to do here, no call to action, no resolution. I'm not posting this for any other reason than to confess my tremendous screw up and let anybody who might be interacting with me in the coming days know why I may be acting unlike myself.
